I have not been able to determine if Event Log Viewer will run efficaciously on a Windows 7, 64 bit OS? Are there any known issues?

Thanks!

Really? I have downloaded it but the file will not open with 7zip?

Error message: Incorrect command line.

Hmm??

Finally managed to open file. I do not know why there was a problem initially?
Thanks for your input!

It FAILS to open Win 7 64bit *.evtx files.

After the last MS update of 2 critical files I got the message
"Interactive Logo Process initialization has failed. Please consult the event log for more details"

Problem is I can't get past that error message to get in to Win7. I have tried
1) F8 - Safe Mode NOPE
2) Win7 Boot DVD with Boot repair NOPE
3) Last know configuration NOPE

Thanks Microsoft!!!! grrrr
So I NEED to read these *.evtx files, but this program here doesn't function either...as well as another half dozen I have tried under WinXP.
