This dialog box lets you change your My Lockbox password and set password-related options.
Enter new password — enter your new password.
Confirm new password — enter the new password again.
Warning: My Lockbox passwords are case-sensitive. For example, PASSWORD and password are different passwords.
To remove your current password, leave both password fields blank and click OK.
Hint (password reminder) — enter a reminder that may help you remember your password.
Anyone who opens My Lockbox can see this hint in the password prompt.
Email address — enter your email address.
My Lockbox includes a free online password recovery service. If you forget your password, you can request recovery instructions by email.
To enable online password recovery, enter a valid email address in the Email address field. The address is stored in encrypted form on your computer. If you forget your password, click Forgot password in the password prompt and follow the on-screen instructions.
If you do not enter an email address, you will not be able to use the My Lockbox online password recovery service.
Windows Hello authentication — if Windows Hello is enabled on your computer, you can use it instead of your My Lockbox password. Enable this option to authenticate with your Windows PIN or biometric data, such as a fingerprint or facial recognition.
Do not enable this option if you share the computer with someone who knows your Windows PIN.
