Installation

If you obtained this software from a source other than our website, check the official FSPro Labs website for the latest version: https://fspro.net.

To install the software, run the Hide Folder Ext installation package and follow the on-screen instructions.



Upgrading from an earlier version

Please note that Hide Folder Ext 3 cannot detect folders hidden with version 1.x on NTFS volumes.

If you have folders hidden with version 1.x on an NTFS drive, you must unhide them with your existing version (1.x or 2.x) before upgrading.

We also recommend uninstalling older versions (1.x or 2.x) of Hide Folder Ext before installing the new one.

Portable Version

You can also download a portable version of Hide Folder Ext from our website. This version does not require installation and can be run directly from any folder or external drive.

Uninstallation

To remove Hide Folder Ext from your system, follow these steps:

1. Open Settings > Apps > Installed Apps (or Apps & Features).

2. Locate Hide Folder Ext in the list.

3. Select Hide Folder Ext (or open its three-dot menu) and choose Uninstall.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the removal process.

	Note for Portable Users If you are using the portable version, you do not need to uninstall it. Simply delete the program files from your disk.
