Basic Controls

 
My Lockbox Status Icon

Locked — My Lockbox protection is enabled, and protected folders are inaccessible.

Unlocked — My Lockbox protection is disabled, and protected folders are accessible.
 
Lock — enables protection for all folders.
Unlock — disables protection for all folders.
Password — opens the Set Password dialog box.
Advanced/Simple  — shows or hides the My Lockbox Settings panel.
 
Set (Add in My Lockbox Pro)  — specifies the location of the protected folder.
Clear (Remove) — removes the currently selected folder from the list of protected folders.
Open — disables protection and opens the selected folder in a new File Explorer window.
Lockbox (available only in My Lockbox Pro) — sets the currently selected folder as the main Lockbox folder.
Unlike other protected folders, the main Lockbox folder opens when you click the My Lockbox shortcut on the Windows desktop or Start menu.
 
Interactive password prompt — when enabled, My Lockbox prompts for your password when you try to open a protected folder in File Explorer. Learn more.
