Main window

The Hide Folders main window is the control center of the program. It consists of:

Toolbar - a set of buttons to manage the application.

Workspace - the main area used to display the Dashboard, List of objects, or Settings page.

Status bar - a bar at the bottom of the main window displaying the protection status.

Toolbar

Command	Meaning
Dashboard	Opens the Dashboard page
Edit list	Opens the List page
Settings	Opens the Settings page
Password	Opens the Change password window
Enable	Activates protection to all file objects in the list
Disable	Deactivates protection to all file objects in the list
Tools	Opens the Tools menu for advanced Hide Folders management

Command	Meaning
Trusted processes	Lets you specify the list of trusted processes.
Language	Changes the user interface language
Skin	Changes the user interface skin
Import list from file	Imports the list of protected objects from a file
Export list to file	Exports the list of protected objects to a file
About	Displays the About dialog box
Help	Opens Hide Folders Help
Check for updates	Checks online whether a new version of Hide Folders is available for download
Uninstall	Uninstalls Hide Folders from your computer
Purchase	Opens the online page for purchasing a Hide Folders license
Enter the registration code	Displays the registration dialog for entering registration information
Close	Closes the application
